Whats the salary limit that we can expect for a Java/J2ee developer with 3 years of experience in the IT Industry today?

Hi, I am Java/J2ee developer with 3 years of experience in the IT Industry. Currently I am working in a Top MNC company in the world and I am planning to make a jump. I would like to know how much should I negotiate for my salary with my new employer and the current salary trend in the IT industry as well for my skillset?
